We know how to make the most of tight spaces, and we know how to get creative when the constraints seem overwhelming. But our client (who was in fact one our most trusted builders, someone we’d worked with many times) came to us with a very different problem: he’d renovated – for himself – a house of such expansive spaces that it had neither heart nor soul. So, how do you replace cold emptiness with something completely different? We set to work, and with the help of carefully chosen furniture, beautifully crafted joinery, the perfect paint colours and the transformative power of lighting, we made the house feel human. And now, at last, it feels just like home.

We hired George and James Architects to refurbish the ground floor of our detached house in Coulsdon. They have completely transformed our house, by creating an open plan space for family life and entertaining alike. We were impressed by their attention to detail and their ability to see the bigger picture. We put our complete trust in them to deliver our aspirations for the project, which we are pleased to say we're not just met but exceeded. Our Project Architect Simon was both friendly and professional in equal measure, the perfect balance in our opinion. We would have no hesitations whatsoever in recommending them to our friends and family. Thank you, George and James ArchitectsArturas
