We are award winning, contemporary architects based in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Our studio is within a fabulously refurbished old dairy barn - this location, when paired with plenty of fresh air, really inspires our creative minds.
We believe that every building design should make you feel good – whether it's your home, your workplace, or perhaps a farm shop, cafe or yoga studio, the design should be thoughtful, joyful and timeless (much like us!).
Architecture should be simple, sustainable and functional, beautiful yet understated. This is a belief that runs through our work, through our conversations, and through the life of our studio. Last year we were delighted to be recognised at the prestigious Sussex Heritage Trust Award for our local Farmhouse project, the contemporary interpretation of a country house is testament to our design ethos.
If you're excited about what a good building could do for you, we'd love to talk. On the other hand, if you’re not too bothered about what your building will look like or how it will make you feel, then we’re probably not the architects for you.
We might appear young, but we’re surprisingly experienced. Between us we have a great variety of design experience from working on a great mix of projects, from private residential homes, including new build, renovations and extensions; multiple unit housing schemes; commercial retail and office designs; we have even worked on a public library scheme, café and microbrewery!
Our different perspectives and experiences bring a great deal to the design process, offering the very best from being a close-knit, resourceful team of creative minds.
Although we enjoy working locally on projects throughout the South Downs National Park, we do also like to keep our horizons wide, and we have architectural projects in many corners of London and the South East. In fact, if it’s the right project and the right client, we’ll work almost anywhere.
