At George & James Architects we have created a spacious design studio for our team in a beautifully refurbished old dairy farm, located in the pretty town on Haslemere, Sussex. The rural setting, mixed with lashings of fresh air, offers an inspiring environment for us to thrive in.
At George & James Architects we have a simple mission: to design places that starts with you. We design buildings and homes that we can all be proud of – sustainable, happy, healthy places that are perfectly crafted for you.
This mission runs through all our work, through our conversations, and through the life of our studio. Talk to any one of us, and you'll find we all share that same sense of commitment and that same strength of feeling.
If you're excited about a design crafted exactly for you and your needs we'd love to talk. On the other hand, if you’re not too bothered about what your building will look like or how it will make you feel, then we’re probably not the architects for you.
As a team we have a varied design experience, we have worked on everything, from large mixed-use development to the hand crafted bespoke homes or sympathetic. We bring all our skills and experiences to each new project, our different perspectives bring a great deal to our design process, we love bouncing ideas off each other and putting our heads together when a problem seems particularly tricky.
We enjoy working locally across East Sussex, and are working on several design projects on our doorstep. But we also like to keep our horizons wide, and we have architectural projects in many corners of London and the South East. In fact, if it’s the right project and the right client, we’ll work almost anywhere.
