Trotton House

Trotton House just didn’t quite work as a modern family home but it has such potential. The house is set within a large, mature garden and it has a generous annex set away from the main home, however the internal layout is dated with small cramped rooms and there is no connection between the home and the stunning garden.

Our clients have asked us to make it into their ideal family home, with space to gather together, areas to work and play independently and of course space for family essentials like a utility room and plenty of storage. With a modest extension we can reconfigured the layout, placing their dream kitchen at the center with direct access to the garden.

The home will also receive a contemporary facelift inspired by the local Sussex vernacular, and a sustainability overhaul, with solar paneling, air source heat pump, new glazing and improved insulation throughout. Once completed it will be a comfortable, energy efficient and social home, perfect for their family to thrive in.
